Phase 1

Demographic:  Outreach to students in grades 6th to 12th

Goal:  Students will be given workshops that motivate & push them into higher learning/education opportunities.

How:  Workshops will be conducted in all elementary/middle/highschool programs that include, academic success, Self-esteem building, Social Media dos & donts, Introduction 101, Bullying, Executing beyond your circle, Oh How I love Me!, etc. 

Students will be enrolled into the College Dreamz program where they will receive a mentor that will motivate and teach them the opportunities that are provided through obtaining higher education degrees. 

Each student will receive an online application that will trace their progress throughout their tenure with College Dreamz.

The online application will include Name, academics, core courses enrolled in, progress reports, report card, extracurricular activities, sports, and volunteerism. 

Parent workshops that include family literacy, financial literacy, College readiness for your child, How to complete FAFSA, How to qualify for Student Loans, Parent Expectations

Based on parental needs, parents will be referred to a financial planner & literacy advisor.  Parents will also be referred to a credit restoration specialist. 

Phase 2

Outreach to students in higher education: 1st year to completion

Goal:  Students will be given workshops that aid and motivate them to complete higher education successfully.

How:  Workshops will be conducted on college campuses, at churches, and higher learning schools. Workshops will include financial literacy, social media dos & donts, Introduction 101, Executing Beyond Your Circle, Oh, How I love Me!, Self-esteem Building, Maintaining Academic Success, Job Readiness

Students will be enrolled into the College Dreamz program where they will receive a mentor that will motivate and teach them the opportunities that are provided through obtaining higher education degrees. 

Each student will receive an online application that will trace their progress throughout their tenure with College Dreamz.

The online application will include Name, academics, courses enrolled in, student transcripts, extracurricular activities, sports, and volunteerism. 

Students will be given career building skills that will close the gap between graduation and employment opportunities.  The application will aid in translating all student’s college experiences into a resume. 

College Dreamz will offer students via the application a job coach to assist with resume writing, cover letter writing and interviewing skills. 

Phase 3

Outreach to graduates to assist in employment opportunities

Goal:  Graduates will be given workshops on resume writing and interviewing skills. 

How:  Workshops will be conducted on college campuses, churches, and employment sites.  Students will be referred to career fairs.   Workshops will include Job Readiness, Social Media Dos & Donts, How I love Me!, Interviewing 101, Resume Writing, Financial Literacy. 

Graduates will enroll into the College Dreamz program where they will receive an online job coach.  The job coach will work with graduates on skills necessary to enter into the workforce.
