College Dreamz came about when a child of a family friend was denied the opportunity to successfully complete college due to lack of financial aid and the inability to attain the proper loans.  Funding for college was unattainable due to the child's parents poor credit ratings, denied loan applications, as well as the lack of knowledge related to financial expectations.    

 

College Dreamz decided that it was time to bring knowledge to the community in order to address disparities that exist in education within minority and low income communities.   

We dare to dream that every person in America be given the same opportunities despite the color of their skin, their economic disadvantages and financial burdens .

College Dreamz provides workshops related to college expectations, financial literacy, financial aid requirements, college loan requirements, college guidance, etc.  

 

We provide services in schools, churches, community centers, organizations, etc.

Established in 2018, we strive to bring awareness to the disparities in low income and minority communities.  There is a disportionate amount of minorities denied access because of life circumstances and the inability to pay for college.

We are a team of concerned community leaders providing information that will enable a forgotten community to rise above their obstacles.
